  • What is a Birth Story?
My birth stories include your whole birthing experience, from active labor until two hours after the birth of your new miracle. The story is captured in a raw, real and lifestyle form. I strive to capture the intense moments before labor, the teamwork of your birth team, your baby's big entrance into the world, their first cry, cutting their cord, bonding and so much more.
  • Why should I hire a Birth Photographer?
The birth of your child is one of the most important days of your life something that should be treasured and remembered; and as a mom, I know that labor and delivery can be a blur. Having this event in your life captured to look back on is a great way to hold on to these amazing moments. By having a birth photographer in the room, it allows your spouse and birth team to give full attention to you and the new baby.
  • What does the price include?
My birth stories includes a consultation over the phone or in person and being on call from your 37 week mark of pregnancy until baby is born. I arrive at the place of birth when active labor begins or you are 6-7cm dilated. I stay until two hours after birth. I hand edit each photo included in your gallery. On average, my galleries include 150 photos. My turn-around time is 8 weeks. Galleries are digitally delivered.
  • How long does it take to receive my photos?
Birth Story Galleries are completed around 8weeks after the birth of your baby.
  • Privacy of your photos
All photos are edited in my own private studio space. I do ask to share some photos on social media and my website but only with your permission.
  • Do I offer payment plans?
Yes, no birth deserves to go uncaptured; therefore I offer a variety of payment plan options.
  • When should I book?
As soon as you know you are pregnant and would like a birth photographer, it is time to call. Births are often book 5 or more months in advance. My calendar fills up quickly.
  • Do I have a back up photographer?
In the very unlikely event that a back up birth photographer is needed I have two wonderful ladies that I can rely on to ensure your special day is captured.
  • Can we meet before my birth?
Yes, I encourage all my clients to meet in person before your baby arrives. This not only helps things not be awkward on birth day but, also, helps me to talk with you and get a better picture of your birth plans and wishes for the big day.
